Trying this place a 2nd time and everything was so much better! I was pleased with everything that we received. This time we ordered the chicken lollipops, lamb kebabs, basil fried rice with beef, and general tso. A difference between when we ordered back then and now is that we went in-person and ordered. It took 15 minutes for the food to come out. Everything was packed neatly. The chicken lollipops were made to order and hot; this was my favorite. Something that bothered me was that each container of the sriracha mayo sauce that came with it was only filled halfway. But other that that, love the way they made their lollipops. So much better compared to Sagar (I mean those are terrible, in my opinion, but that is a story for a different review). The general tso tasted good, exactly like it should taste. The basil rice with beef had the right amount of spice but as usual with these type of dishes, wish there was a better meat to rice portion. The lamb kebabs were my other favorite. It was grilled to perfection. Lol. Seasonings and texture... spot on! So good. I wish we ordered more of it. Overall, my 2nd experience with LuLu was so much better and I'd actually go back! Definitely going back for the chicken lollipops and lamb kebabs!! I love that during Ramadan they have a 15% off all orders deal. So an ideal spot to come to for Iftar especially if you're in the area and don't want to travel all the way to Astoria to get some halal Chinese food. On a flyer, I saw they mentioned that you get free boba. I think that is probably just for dine-in rather than take-out. It would have been cool to get that deal with take-out since we spent a good amount. I would have loved to see a deal where if you spend more than $50, you get free boba. Maybe next year?

One of my favorite go to for Chinese and Thai food. Their Thai Pineapple fried rice and Satay chicken are my favorites!

Admittedly my expectations weren't that high, but the food blew me away. We found everything we ordered to be delicious. The udon noodles were tasty and perfectly spicy. The fried dumplings, although oily, were so good. And the chicken lollipops? So good! It's almost comparable to the famous lollipop chicken at Tangra. I'm so happy to find a halal restaurant of this caliber in this area. Although it is on the pricey side, it wouldn't stop me from going back. I got takeout, but the interior was comfortable and clean. The service was friendly and professional. There is meter parking. I will definitely be back soon!

Yummy! We came from Brooklyn to try this Thai spot that has been on my list for my Brothers anniversary dinner! Kids loved the bubble tea. The appetizers were decent. Bummer they were out of Ramen. We always get siracha but did not need it!! It was soo good, the chili fish, drunken noodle, basil rice & Calcutta chicken were our favorite!

The service was amazing 10/10. The food lived up to my expectations. My fav would have to be the Bao buns (Bao chick wow). Good experience overall, only thing I would say is it isn't a very fitting place for a big crowd to go to.

At present Lulu is celebrating their 3 year anniversary with an exclusive menu for the month of February! I had the pleasure of trying to menu items off of it (the Korean fried chicken sandwich and their duck bao). It was my first time trying duck as I haven't seen many places with halal duck on the menu! So I was really happy to try it. The bao was really soft and the meat within was well sauced up. It seems like a very thin, dry sort of meat but the glaze really helped with the flavor and texture. The Korean fried chicken sandwich was far larger than I had expected and the buns (top and bottom) had grill marks which gave the sandwich a Smokey BBQ flavor. The glaze itself was really cold though which made the entire sandwich just feel at room temperature and not hot and fresh. It wasn't a bother or anything, just something I noticed. The fries were airy, crispy and well seasoned and very enjoyable! The chiang mai ramen was essentially red curry with chicken katsu and ramen which is an incredible combination in of itself. I would've loved if there was a green curry or massman curry version (just for the fun of it and also because I prefer those curries personally). That aside, the portion was more than enough for one person and all around enjoyable. I love the collision of all the different cultures on the menu. It was really nice to try things from different parts of the world under one roof. The employees were really lovely but I wish there had been more napkins provided and maybe a spoon or bowl for when the ramen came out for ease of eating. Maybe more attention to when we needed water as we were waiting some time to flag someone down to get another glass full. But that aside, no complaints! The place was really busy with takeout so everyone was just doing their best.

New spot ALERTT!!! Been hearing about this on Instagram and within the Halal Community . Decided to give them a shot , I was truly amazed. I had been in that area actually came to find out I ate at the restaurant that was there before. It's a small restaurant I would say but very cozy!! Walked in , and we were all greeted and seated right away !! Menus were already set on the table, host told us a little about the restaurant and the special dishes !! We decided to go with his recommendation. The food came out pretty fast and in order, not like at some places where apps and main course is coming out at the same time. The presentation was amazing and very unique as well . Overall this was a a very good experience !! Ambience- 9/10 Service - 10/10 WiFi- Not Sure Parking - Street Halal- Yes
